Many teens need sexual and reproductive healthcare services – such as starting birth control or getting STI testing - for the first time. You can certainly get these services from your pediatrician or other current primary provider. However, some teens prefer to go to a clinic that specializes in SRH services. An SRH clinic might feel like it offers more privacy or be more convenient or accessible to you. Know that you can get great SRH care either way.
